Our friends at Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) pulled off another belter in early June, celebrating all things community at Bankside Open Spaces Festival 2023, one of London’s largest and free, urban green space-focussed festivals.

Over 20,000 people turned out for an incredible afternoon, kicking off with a Latina Fiesta Procession, followed by special appearances from the Mexican Ambassador for Great Britain Josefa Gonzalez Blanco, alongside Mayor of Southwark Councillor Michael Situ, who officially opened the celebrations.

There was live music, plant give-aways, incredible food, bass-thumping DJs, donkey rides and much, much more.

Always up there as one of our favourite events of the year, we had a brilliant afternoon catching up with the Bankside community, and beyond, on our plans for Roots in the Sky and 55 Great Suffolk Street.

It’s one very special part of London and, as ever, we feel lucky to be a part of it.
