Community Support

We are thrilled to be supporting South London Cares on their mission to raise much needed funds to help support older neighbours in Southwark, who are in self-isolation during a time of crisis.

The donation of £1,117 contributed to reaching their goal of £10,000. These funds went directly towards a new dynamic pilot programme helping older neighbours stay connected to the SLC network and other vital support services during this time. 

Other channels of support include training older people to use Zoom to connect to online Social Clubs, a phone friendship scheme, young volunteer recruitment drive, letters, poems, drawings and messages of hope to over 1000 members each month.
