We were thrilled to present ‘Permanent Temporary,’ our Pineapple Awards-shortlisted project celebrating local art, design, culture, and community in the Old Kent Road, at the Festival of Place hosted by The Developer at BOXPARK Wembley.

The event is an annual platform showcasing the best of placemaking, sparking meaningful discussions on dissolving barriers and unpicking what truly enriches our urban environments.

Fabrix’s Chris Ortner presented alongside Noah Chulu Chin, founder of SUMweekly – our partner on the Permanent Temporary project, through which we’ve activated our Victorian warehouse The Bottle Factory to create a platform to showcase grassroots design talent and bring the London Design Festival to the Old Kent Road.

Big congrats to The Developer for another top-rate event and putting the spotlight on inspiring projects across the UK, both big and small.

“The Permanent Temporary project is truly something special, celebrating art, culture, and creativity from the Old Kent Road neighborhood. The event brings together some of south London’s brightest and most talented individuals, delivering an inclusive and community-driven programme, platforming over 100 local artists and designers.”
