We were thrilled to host charity Community Security Trust (CST), at Symes Mews in Camden Town, for their young members dinner, as part of our Free for a Purpose Initiative.

The charity dedicated to protecting the Jewish community and promoting good relations between British Jews and the rest of British society, is focussed on eliminating racism, antisemitism in particular.

Special guest comedian, presenter, screenwriter and author David Baddiel was host for the evening’s event, set on the first floor of our recently-restored and extended former furniture warehouse – now a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ creative workspace.

Robert Schrimsley, UK chief political commentator and UK editor at large of the Financial Times, carried the crowd through an insightful Q&A with David, highlighting his experiences with racism, and how this is reflected in his most recent novel ‘Jews Don’t Count’.

Our Free for a Purpose initiative provides access to Fabrix spaces for charitable and local organisations at no cost – in the last year alone we have hosted over 60 events with more than 50 charitable and community partners.
