We had a blast at the Bankside Open Spaces Festival over the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend. There was live music, performances, stalls, craft, sport, dance, food, a dog show, a beach, art, DJs, plant giveaways and lots more.

Over 16,000 people made it along to celebrate so much of what makes the area special. We couldn’t have been happier to have been invited to be a part of it again this year, share our plans for Roots in the Sky, 55 Great Suffolk Street and Price’s Street, and to catch up with the incredible Bankside community – old and new.

Huge congratulations to the Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST), and all their collaborators, for pulling off another superb event. The environmental and volunteering charity works to protect, preserve and enhance parks and gardens in London’s SE1 and has been an invaluable partner and friend to Fabrix on our projects in the LB Southwark.

We wouldn’t be turning our vision to reprioritise nature into a reality at Roots In The Sky without them.
