It was fantastic to partner with New London Architecture on the ‘ACT on DIVERSITY’ Pecha Kucha evening, as part of the London Festival of Architecture, which we hosted at the Roots In The Sky development site.

Drawing on LFA’s theme this year of Act, the evening explored ideas, initiatives and projects creating equitable spaces that nurture diversity in the city.

The brilliant line-up of speakers included: Nicholas Okwulu of The Livesey Exchange; Jimmy Wheale of Nomadic Community Gardens; Judy El-Hajjar of David Morley Architects; Lucía Berasaluce Trueba of Haptic Architects, Chetna Kapakee from the GLA, and our very own Francisca Hamilton.

Diversity is central to the way we work at Fabrix. We are committed to delivering projects which are true vehicles for positive change, that go above and beyond planning policy. Projects that are embedded in their communities and take everyone with them, not just the privileged few.

An evening exploring how we can create spaces that are inclusive and equitable and what ‘acts’ we can all take to help create a better city.
